A collection of videos/pictures from the day. Feel free to add your own photos etc. below! Thanks for recording this one for me, Mitch! And some POV recordings from inside my Jeep... Excuse the audio quality on these though, as my point and shoot that I mount on my dash has rather crap audio. Unfortunately it's one of the few cameras that will fit where I mount it, so it'll have to do for now. Lot of stop and go in this video... I'll upload photos tomorrow In the mean time, here's an HDR from today.
Great videos. I'm sorry I missed the ride. I'm glad everyone else had fun. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using Tapatalk 2
I was watching these videos this morning with my kids. My four year old , Sam was with me yesterday. When the blue Rubicon climbs Cadillac Hill, Sam says "that one has lockers". Apparently he was paying attention yesterday.
Always next time. I really enjoyed it myself though. I'd have to say it was the best conditions out of the past 3 Easleyville runs I've been on and it wasn't overly crowded which allowed everything to roll pretty smoothly throughout the day. Sounds like you'll be buying another Jeep in a few more years lol
And now for the photos. These are the noteworthy ones I shot. Found these critters by nearly pissing on em'. Glad I didn't though, as I imagine they'd have been rather pissed off, no pun intended. Phil posing just after popping the climb's cherry. Broken kncukle. And at the end of the day as the storm was rolling in. We had just about perfect timing. Had a blast, hope everyone else did too!
Got a couple of videos, but they were taken with my iphone so not the best. Definitley a fun day! Still waiting for the other vids to load but here's one of a YJ coming down cadillac hill.
Iphone 4. Should have had my friend hold the phone sideways for the videos; it has a wider image that way. EDIT: This video was taken sideways.
That's what I was going to suggest. I have an iPhone 4S and I think it's quality is amazing. It does it in HD too. Just trying to mount it properly on the windshield for some good driving shots.
Did anyone in Jeremy's group get any good photos or video? None of my dash-cam footage came out all that exciting. I need to remember to lower the gain on the microphone so the motor noise is not as obnoxious as it is in real life. Anyone else?
