I'm running a YJ, Hi Pinion 30 housing, with all TJ inner parts, (no CAD) Lockrite, and Warn Selectable hubs, which kind of act as a fuse. Been pushing 36" TSLs for years... blew a hub once, (at Barnwell), 10 minutes and spare was in... but I don't...

2.5 with auto is incredibly slow, but the manual is substantially better. As for the pinky out, that won't be an option until I add power steering.

i've talked about this alot. i believe that the TJ suspension is much harder on the axle. there is no "give" as the arms hold the axle with little to no housing movement. the leaf springs allow the axle to move when the tires are bound up....

I have "wood" and "cock" in my name. It takes a lot more than a cylinder count to leave me embarassed. Besides- IDGAF what everyone else has. The 4-cyl is proving sufficient so far. If I want more power I'll drive the Powerstroke.
