Yeah you are probably smart avoiding new technology. Should turn your shop into a barn to while you are at it. The combustion engine is just to new. Horse and buggy is the way to go.

I have to say one of the reviews I saw said those led's don't attract bugs if they are as good as a t5 then that could be a plus in the led direction. Ronn I may wait to hear your feedback on how you like them once you hang them.

I haven't been to Costco but I saw the ones Sam's has (probably the exact same thing in different packages if not the same) on display and I was underwhelmed. They just didn't appear all that bright. So I said to my Pop "does that seem bright to...

It looks like inexpensive 4 foot 2 bulb t8 fixtures are running $18-25 for your basic fixture. Which is perfectly fine by me and would be plenty affordable. I guess the question is are thesefixturess/ballists any good? The t5 fixtures are double...

T5s with cold weather ballasts. I would say 6x 2bulb 4' fixtures should be sufficient. I think good ones run around $70 each If you want cheap, put up some of the $10 shop fixtures

So, I've been beating the Hell out of the 4Runner that I got from Woody. I can't seem to break this thing. I've had rigs on tons that I've inflicted more damage on. Now that I know it will survive, the teardown starts this weekend. I've already...

I don't know if they still have them, but Costco was selling some pretty nice LED shop lights a while back... I think $20 or $30 each. They look like T5 shop lights. I bought two buy have yet to hang them so no feedback yet.
